In keeping with the vision of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) we seek to ensure that students engage in authentic and exciting experiences in science that reflect the demands of 21st century STEM careers and the need for a scientifically literate citizenry. We believe that our research in harsh polar and alpine settings can inspire students to engage more deeply and passionately with the thrills and challenges of scientific careers.
